The joint meeting of
the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the American Society of
Safety Engineers will be held March 17th, 1999. The luncheon will be held
at the Best Western Motel in Laurel, Maryland.
The luncheon will now feature a senior level OSHA staffer (not
OSHA Administrator Charles Jeffers, as previously reported). Price is $20.00
for lunch.

The ASSE will hold
its annual Professional Development Conference in Baltimore June 13th to
18th, 1999. Over 4000 EHS professionals are expected to attend this week-long
event. Members and non-members are invited to attend.
The local ASSE chapter will be sponsoring a night out at Camden Yards where
conference attendees can relax and enjoy an evening of major league baseball.
The Baltimore ASSE chapter is making tickets available to other area EHS
organizations (including the Mid-Atlantic Chapter, SESHA). You don't have
to attend the PDC to attend the ballgame. If you are interested, contact
