Chapter Facts
The Mid-Atlantic
Chapter of the Semiconductor Environmental, Safety & Health Association was established
in 1998. Geographically, the Mid-Atlantic Chapter comprises:

The Chapter was chartered on January 13th, 1999. SESHA President
Liz Aton and SESHA Executive Director, Brett Burke, presented the
Chapter membership with their official charter at a ceremony
held
at Dominion Semiconductor in Manassas, Virginia.
Membership currently stands at about 65 members representing
both the private and public sectors. Over fifty different companies
can be counted among the membership including semiconductor wafer
fabs, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, insurance companies
and government facilities. |

Chapter
Meetings
The Chapter holds 4 meetings a year one of which is held concurrently
with the SESHA professional development conference and exhibition.
Meeting locations rotate among member companies.
Chapter meetings are intended to bring high quality, timely environmental,
health and safety information to chapter members. The meetings
also provide a local forum for member networking and interaction. |

Chapter Meeting Set
for June 2nd
Join us at Dominion Semiconductor in Manassas, Virginia for our
June meeting.
Dr. Philip Edelman will speak about burn injuries common to the
semiconductor industry. The two-part session will talk about
HF burns and burns from other caustics.
The meeting will also feature a roundtable discussion on best
practices for handling burn injuries. If you have something to
share, bring about 40 copies!
