SESHA New England Section Lunchtime Meeting/Tour


Our first SESHA New England Section lunchtime meeting/tour is scheduled for Thursday March 8, 2001 at 10:30 AM @ Axcelis corporation located in Beverly MA. Steve Roberge from Axcelis will speak on the following topic "Maximizing Efficiency of Toxic Gas Management in an Ion Implanter Manufacturing Environment through the use of Configurable Ventilation and Detection Systems" You are encouraged to bring questions and share your own experiences with regard to detection systems and associated ventilation issues. Lunch will be provided for a small fee. A tour of the Facility will be conducted following lunch. The meeting will adjourn by 3:00 PM.

Directions to Axcelis as follows:

From the South, Take Route 128N to Exit 22W (this is Route 62 towards Middleton). At the light, take a right and go under the 128 overpass. Next take a right at the sign that says ÒTo 128SÓ. Don't get back on 128. The street then curves to the left and forks. Take the right hand fork, This puts you on Conant Street Take the second entrance to Cherry Hill Park on the left We are the first building on the right Go around the building to the left Visitor parking is 3/4 around the building from the Cherry Hill entrance.

From the North, Take 128S to Conant Street Exit Take a right onto Conant St. off the Ramp Take the second entrance to Cherry Hill Park on the left We are the first building on the right Go around the building to the left Visitor parking is 3/4 around the building from the Cherry Hill entrance.

There was a joint SESHA, Sematech, and SEMI meeting September 22, 1989 on Emergency Preparedness at the Boston Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel. It was
well attended with about 50 folks from the Northeast area.
